The Rescue of a Child
One day, a boy named Partha Pratim was fishing in the river Dhansiri.
It was his daily pastime. A child from his neighbourhood was also playing near
him on the bank. All of a sudden, the child slipped its feet and fell into the
river. The undercurrent pulled the child down. Partha did not lose a moment and
straightaway dived into the river. After some search, he could find the child
out. The child was rescued in a state of unconsciousness. It regained sense
after some time. The parents of the child were very grateful to Partha. They
blessed Partha for risking his life to save their son’s life. The villagers
praised the boy too.
