there lived in Iran a brave worrior named Rustam. His courage and strength were
more than human.
Once he had a long
ride. At the end of his ride he came to Turan. The king of Kurdistan in Turan
invited him. Rustam accepted the invitation and he was given a warm reception.
Then the king gave his daughter Tahmina in marriage with him……….
Rustam and His Brave Son
Long long ago,

ride. At the end of his ride he came to Turan. The king of Kurdistan in Turan
invited him. Rustam accepted the invitation and he was given a warm reception.
Then the king gave his daughter Tahmina in marriage with him. Rustom pressed a
few months with his wife in Turan and then he again went out in the world in
search of adventures. A son was born to him and the mother named the child
Sohrab. Rustam did not know it. He was informed that a daughter was born.
Sohrab grew up as
a warrior. He wanted to see his father. At the age of 18, a war broke out
between Iran and Turan. Sohrab fought in favour of Turan while his father fought for Iran. The
father and the son faced directly. Sohrab was killed in the hand of his father.
Rustam soon recognized him as his son when it was too late. He became extremely
repentant for the tragic incident.
