was taken to the king, how he gave him medicine and proper instruction, how the
king was recovered, what the reaction was when the king knew about the nobility
of Saladin, etc. Now complete the story and give it a little.
A
long and terrible fight was going on between the Muslims and the Christians for
taking the possession of the holy place, Jerusalem. Both the parties wanted to
have it under them singly.
One
day, all on a sudden, the fight came to a stop. A white flag was found flying
on the Christian camp. For king Richard, the General of the Christian army was seriously ill.
Physicians
were engaged for treatment. But the condition of the patient was going from bad
to worse day by day……….
Nobility of Saladin

night. Gradually the condition of the patient was improving. Thus the patient
recovered in a few days.
The
king expressed his gratitude to the darvish for his proper treatment and wanted
to reward him. The darvish refused with thanks. The king then asked the darvish
who he was. The darvish told him that he was Saladin, his great enemy. The king
became surprised. He cordially embraced Saladin and said that he would no more
fight against Saladin.
